"Work It to the Bone" was produced by Larry Thompson and Rick Lenoir - or LNR (Larry N Rick). Released in 1987, it was a bare bones Chicago house track that showed early on that acid house was more than just a Roland 303...acid house had already become a feeling.
I first heard "Work It to the Bone" in 1988, when it was included on the Profile Records compilation, Best of House, Volume 2, and 20 years later I still can't get enough.
