In 1988, Daniel Kojo Poku was the head of A&R at Chrysalis records when he recorded "We Call Acieed" as D-Mob. The single hit #3 in the UK and it was one of the biggest tracks of the English "Summer of Love," 1988. It also helped fuel the British tabloids' obsession with the new "drug-crazed youth" which eventually led to the British government crackdown on acid house parties and raves.
