As a follow-up to my last post, it appears that all evil things must end too. Hateful, smirking, self-righteous and just plain mean Jerry Falwell has finally left this world. I don't want to celebrate anyone's death, but I must admit that I feel a sense of relief knowing that Jerry Falwell can no longer use religion as a deadly weapon against love and peace and tolerance.

I heart Mark Morford.

His views on homosexuality were disgusting and so hypocritical that I could not stand it. However, he did has some good parts and at least he was not a big televangelist who cheated his congregation out of their money and then cheated, drank, and did drugs. We all have our faults, his were just publicly displayed and hateful. Life goes on. Most people don't even give him a second thought now that he is gone.
HEY...WHY NO COMMENTS ON MY SON?!!!
HUH? HUH?
I don't disagree with you, but he has to be given credit for standing up and speaking what he believed -- its just unfortunate that those beliefs were so hateful, divisive and wrong.
